Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. Our periodontal specialty dental office is in-network with Delta Dental and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and we’re happy to work with plans from several other providers as well. Just give us a call ahead of your appointment, and we’ll perform a complimentary benefits check, so you can have a good estimate of how much you’ll be expected to pay out of pocket for your treatment.
Is periodontal care covered by dental insurance?
The answer to this question will be different for each periodontal patient depending on the specific terms of their dental insurance plan, but typically, services like exams, cleanings, X-rays, sedation, and others associated with periodontal treatment can be covered by dental insurance. While dental implant surgery is often not covered, most dental insurance plans will help pay for the restoration that goes on top of the post.
What if I don’t have dental insurance?
Payment plans are offered to periodontal patients without dental insurance. Inquire about the details at your consultation.
What if I hold off on getting work done?
Unfortunately, problems like gum disease and tooth loss only tend to get worse over time without treatment. Any infections can continue to spread and even move beyond the mouth, and research shows that once a tooth goes missing, those around it are much more likely to fall out within a few years. Thankfully, this can be avoided, and any existing damage can be fully repaired by our fantastic periodontal team.
